- Why does my printer takes an abnormally long time to copy?

Can someone please help me with my problem.My printer takes a long long time to copy documents even if it is B/W print.It takes almost 4-5 minutes to copy.Kindly provide any solution.

The issue might be related to a mismatched paper setting or other copy default.

For example, select and read the section
Slow copy speed
If the printer is on the network, use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to manage / configure your printer settings.
Example:
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Copy Defaults

NOTE
Some printers (for example the Officejet Pro 8740) split out Paper settings to Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
