Dear community,

in need is the TWAIN driver for OP8710.

Have followed the links in the forums and removed existing software, removed folders from Program files and renamed the folder 3 to 3_old.

Also cleared the required regedit keys.

Ran setup.exe from the full driver setup, but still no luck. The installed driver set in add remove programs still shows up as basic. 

 

The 3rd party software still complains that TWAIN driver cannot be found.

 

Is it so difficult for a giant as HP to provide access to a simplified granular driver executables?

 

Could someone point me to the right direction, please?

The Full Feature Software is the only "full driver" package available.

 

I pulled apart the installation file - the package appears complete.

Looking for Scan software other than HP Scan?

The HP Twain Scan Utility is also included the software and should install when the Full Feature Software is installed.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories 

 

Third party software may - or may not - be able to make use of the driver.
