Envy 5014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an Envy 5014 printer and everything is set up except I don't have the capability to scan a document from my PC. The scan software that was downloaded during setup only scans to the USB port that connects to the printer. Other HP printers I have has have a wireless scan and capture capability. How do I get my wireless printer function to also do scanning?

Please try HP Scan Extended using the following software

   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10:

(a) Hit Win key,
(b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
(c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"

You can put a shortcut on Taskbar or Desktop

Regards.

It worked, but connects to another network printer I have instead of the new one. How do I select which printer?
