Fixed it by attaching lint free cloth onto long flat cooking utensil. Service guy wanted to sell me same model for 199.00 He is supposed to call back tomorrow. Fixed. Document feeder lifts up there is a long skinny glass strip under there. If there is something on there it will come off when you wipe it a few times. print a copy using document feeder and you will see eventually it will go away. If not, then repeat cleaning process with damp cloth attached to something long and skinney like a number 2 pencil.  YAYYY

by bb he means the little black thing the size of a bebe from a bebe gun. It is in the hinge on the side facing you . push it in and you can unhinge the thing. You can also lift up on the right hand side about a half inch just enough to put a cleaning tool in there.
