blue line appears on scanned documents only thru feeder dose not affect the original document only the copies. it even appears when I save the doc to be printed. please help this is very annoying when I have work to do. i have went thru the steps posted and nothing changed

Most common on this model is for the plastic sheet that covers the small strip of glass and directs the paper get scratched or damaged. the part number for the replacement plastic strip is B3Q10-00060. You can buy from the HP Parts Store though they currently show as backordered.
