I can't scan any documents due to low ink warning. I shouldn't need ink to scan anything. I there a work around for this problem?
I am using windows 8.1 and a HP Deskjet 3752 printer.

Hello @ZenoPotas ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If you only want to scan and freely decide when to install new ink, then you should disable the "Internet" options!
Here's what you need to do:
- Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
- Please note: WLAN has to be deactivated!
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP DeskJet and Ink Advantage 3700 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
Type: Installation Software and Full/Basic Driver
Version: 40.15.1231
Operating Systems: Windows 8.1 (32-bit)
Release date: Nov 22, 2021
File name: Full_Webpack-40.15.1231-DJ3700_Full_Webpack.exe (102.6 MB) - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the Full_Webpack-40.15.1231-DJ3700_Full_Webpack.exe
Via USB, means wait until the installation asks to connect the printer/scanner. - The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I followed your instructions and was able to scan documents afterwards. Can I use this method on my other printer (HP Officejet 4650) which is in a different location? Thanks for your help with this problem.
