New computer is Dell Optiplex 7010 desktop. Printer is HP Officejet 8600 all-in-one. Can no longer set scan from printer. Have to go to computer and can't select to scan front and back. Went to HP to manage scan and got this message. Please help!
Open the HP Officejet Pro 8600 software and click on Manage Scan to Computer.
Press the Disable button, allow it a moment, then uncheck the bottom box to start the option with Windows and close this window, allow it 30 seconds.
Click on Manage Scan to Computer once again, check the bottom box back and click on Enable.
Click on Manage Scan to Computer once again, may you now see the feature as enabled with a green check mark? be sure to select the Exact PC name as listed under Manage Scan to Computer, without any added words prior or after your PC name.
