I have Readiris Pro 12 CD disk installed, which came with my laserjet 1536dnf printer package. I am trying to scan multiple pages through my printer's ADF. For some reason, my documents are not getting pulled by the ADF.
Note: When I put multiple pages through the ADF and click 'Start Copy", the pages get pulled the ADF.

Hello, @RicharddR
Right-click on the unspecified entry and select "Remove". Restart the PC and then try to install the software.
If that does not help, try to use Microsoft Fix it tool to completely remove the software from the PC. Check the steps here: Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed
Hope that helps!

Hello, @RicharddR – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’d like to help!
I see that you are having issues with scanning multiple pages using the ADF. Since the copy function is working well, the issue could be with the printer drivers. Try to reinstall the drivers to try and fix the issue:
- First, unplug the USB cable from the printer, if present.
- Go to Control Panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control Panel – Devices and Printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Restart your computer.
- Now, click http://hp.care/2qLlrqc to download and install the software.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
- Restart the printer and check.
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers 🙂

Thank you for your reply!
When I click on your link
I see there are different options for downloading:
1. HP LaserJet M1536 Full Feature Software and Driver
2. HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5 (64-bit)
3. HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit)
4. HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PostScript (64-bit)
Which option do you recommend?
Thank your time and response!

Hello, @RicharddR
You need to download and install the "Full-Feature" drivers of the printer. Hence, the 1st one.
You can also download it here: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL34693/Im-86005-5/hp_M1530_MFP_full_Solution_15188.exe

Do I need to uninstall Readiris Pro 12 as well?

Hello, @RicharddR
Are you using an HP PC? The control panel that you have listed is related to the PC software and not the printer. You need not uninstall any of these listed items.
Also, Readirir Pro is a printer program, but you don't need to uninstall that as well.

Thank you for your continued support! Yes, I have a HP computer.
I listed everything that is HP or Hewlett-Packard related on my Post, which I see on my control panel, programs and features . So if there are no drivers showing on the Contol panel, would it be safe to assume, that I can go ahead and install the 'Full feature' software and printer drivers?

Hello, @RicharddR
Yes, restart the PC and try to install the full feature printer software.
Thank you! Let me know if that helps by marking the post as a Solution.

It wasn't mentioned in your previous Post, but I went ahead and removed my printer through Devices and Printers. I re-booted my computer. Unfortunately, I forgot to disconnect the USB cable to my printer. Now I see on Devices and Printers, under 'Unspecified' category, HP Laserjet 1536 MFP. There is no option to remove this printer. What woudl you suggest?
