Hi @cdh68,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
We understand how important it is to keep your HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer connected to the right email address, especially when using HP ePrint or cloud services. Let’s walk through the steps to update your printer’s email address with care and clarity.
Steps to Change Your Printer’s Email Address
Step 1: Sign in to HP Smart
- Open a browser and go to:
👉 HP Smart - Sign in using the account currently linked to your printer.
If you don’t have one, create a new account and add your printer using its claim code or by enabling Web Services.
Step 2: Access ePrint Settings
- Once signed in, click on your printer name from the dashboard.
- Go to Web Services or ePrint Settings.
- Select “Change Email Address” or “Personalize ePrint Address.”
- Enter your desired email prefix (e.g., yourname@hpeprint.com).
If it’s available, it will be assigned immediately.
Step 3: Reset Web Services (if needed)
If you don’t see the option to change the email:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Web Services > Remove Web Services.
- Then go back and enable Web Services again.
- A new email address will be generated, and you can personalize it through HP Smart.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
