Responses are quick to say it is a connectivity issue. It is not. I can use HP easy scan to scan using the flatbed, one page at a time. The issue only occurs when using the document feeder. It takes in one page and then gives the error. It happens every time.

Scanning one page at a time on the flatbed, printing, faxing are all working just fine. So it is NOT connectivity and "download new software" is also not the answer. I am using a MAC and it is printing via bonjour wirelessly.

You most likely just need to update HP Easy Scan or switch to HP Smart for scanning.

 

The easiest way to update HP Easy Scan is to first delete it from your applications folder and then download the latest version from the Mac App store.  This way you will always be notified of a new version.
