Hi @zoharmend,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To delete an email address from the outgoing email profiles on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series printer, follow these steps:

Using the Printer's Control Panel:

  1. Turn on the printer and ensure it is connected to the network.
  2. Access the printer's control panel by tapping the touchscreen.
  3. Navigate to the "Scan" menu.
  4. Select "Email", then choose "Email Profile".
  5. You will see a list of saved email profiles. Select the profile you want to delete.
  6. Tap on the "Settings" icon or the corresponding option that allows you to edit or delete the profile.
  7. Find the delete option and confirm the deletion.

Using the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  1. Find the printer’s IP address:
    • On the printer's control panel, go to the "Wireless" icon or "Network" settings to find the IP address.
  2. Open a web browser on your computer and type the printer's IP address into the address bar. Press Enter.
  3. This will open the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) for your printer.
  4. Log in to the EWS if prompted. The default admin username and password might be required (check your printer's manual or documentation if you don't know these credentials).
  5. Navigate to the "Scan" tab or "Email" settings.
  6. Look for an option like "Outgoing Email Profiles".
  7. Select the email profile you wish to delete.
  8. Find the delete option and confirm the deletion.

Using the HP Smart App:

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Select your printer from the list of available printers.
  3. Go to "Printer Settings" or "Advanced Settings".
  4. Navigate to the "Scan" tab or "Email" settings.
  5. Find the outgoing email profiles section.
  6. Select the email profile you want to delete.
  7. Find the delete option and confirm the deletion.

Hi Gaya1239,

Unfortunately, I cannot follow your instructions for 2 reasons:

1. In order to delete the chosen email profile on the printer, I need the PIN code.  I cannot find that code.  The printer offered to email the PIN code, but I do not have access to that email anymore, so I can't see the message.

2. Logging onto the printer via the web, there is no choice for email settings under the Scan tab.  The list of contacts is empty...

Can you assist with these two obstacles?

Thank you.
