Product: Ofgicejet 6600
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

 When I insert the document in the ADF, I hear the chime and the screen says original loaded. When I press scan on my computer, it scans from the glass… Rollers do even try to  pick up the document in the feeder. I have tried to follow the instructions in another thread with the same problem, to no avail. I did not do a firmware update bc my internet is not working this evening

A Firmware update is definitely important in such issues.

 

Once you get your internet up and running please follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168 for the Firmware update

 

Also follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03079119 to clean the Paper Feed Rollers
