Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.Just for information some technical information is protected by HP and is not allowed to be answered. This is unfortunate and you will have to contact a HP repair shop for the help in this case. The scans through the document feeder uses only the small piece of glass.Open the document feeder and see if you can reach the glass.
Hope this will help.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.
.Thank You.Copier-Pro

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, you're facing scan quality issue on your printer,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
When was the last time it worked fine?
Were there any hardware/software changes made?
Does this happen while making a photocopy?
How is the scan quality from printer flatbed scanner glass?
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps from the video you had mentioned?
If you have tried troubleshooting steps from the video you had mentioned, I would suggest you contact our phone support:
