Have been having problems faxing. It was intermittent; but now can't fax at all(thought it was on receiving end until I couldn't fax anyone for our business!) Getting Errors 344 & 388. I've looked through many answers; but no fixes were listed for my e-all-in-one. I REALLY need to fax! Our Company relies on it. Any help would be appreciated. I will continue to try to troubleshoot on my own; however it failed the HP FaxBack Test; so something is going on.

Hi,
Have you contacted your phone provider?
Both 344 and 388 error codes occur due to poor phone line quality:

Hi and thank you for your suggestion. I had already decided to call our cable company if I couldn't trouble shoot what was going on. The error messages I was getting all pointed to a poor connection; so I started with the usual suspects. Unplugging the printer, restarting the fax wizard from scratch and I had the cable company send a signal to the modem; which they said took way too long. When I called them today; they couldn't even hear me; so definitely the phone line. Thank for responding and hopefully I should be up and running after my appointment with our provider tomorrow.
