follow up question to hp solution center on desktop stopped working

Hello,

I appreciate the response I got from a community member quickly after I posted my first question. But I cant download the hpscan ext from that link you sent me. I click on the link and nothing happens. I can't download it.  I'm frustrated that I can't figure out why I can't download it. I wish HP would come up with an easy fix for customers using the deskjet F4480 all in one printer after this change in the windows operating system that stopped supporting the HP solution center on the desktop. Yesterday, I purchased a stand alone scanner made by another company in order to scan multiple pages as one document at home. I'm hoping the suggestion from the other community member would work so I can return the scanner. It's still in the box unopened.  It's very important that I be able to scan multiple pages into one document. My hp printer with the scan button only allows me to scan one page as one document. It gives me no option to scan multiple pages as one document. Unfortunately, that's a design flaw. Help!

Here are two other compatible scanning apps, which can be used to scan your photo or document:

1. HP Scan Extended: You can Download-Save-Install > HP Scan Extended  
   • If the link above does not work, copy and paste the ftp address below into your browser: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Or--

1. HP Scan and Capture: You can download and Install HP Scan and Capture app from Microsoft store. Here is the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store
   For more information on how to use this app, refer: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675206

NOTE: You must have the HP printer driver software installed on the computer to use these apps. If you did not uninstall HP Printer driver software, then you should have it already.

OPTIONAL: Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start

• Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
• Right-Click exe > Select Pin to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start

HP Scan Extended features include (and are not limited to): Single, Multiple scans, Image and PDF scans, Email as PDF / JPEG, Source selection, Page Size choices include Auto-Detect (extracts image / document boundary).  May include OCR (Save as Editable Text).
