How can I save a scan on a 7645 series printer in another format other than PDF or JPG

Hi @fbennett,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

For the HP OfficeJet 7645 series printer, the supported formats for saving scanned documents might be limited to PDF and JPG by default in the printer's settings. However, you can convert the scanned document to other formats using third-party software on your computer.

Here's a general guide to achieve this:

Scan the Document: Use your printer's scanning function to scan the document as either a PDF or JPG file.

Convert Using Software: After scanning, use software on your computer to convert the file to a different format. There are various free and paid tools available for this purpose. Some popular options include Adobe Acrobat (for PDF conversion), online conversion tools like Zamzar or OnlineConvert, or image editing software like Photoshop or GIMP (for image format conversions).

Upload and Convert: If you choose an online conversion tool, simply upload the scanned file to the website and select the desired output format. The website will convert the file, and you can then download it in the new format.

Remember that the ability to save directly in different formats from the printer might be limited, but converting the scanned document using software on your computer gives you more flexibility in choosing the desired file format.

However, If you're unable to resolve the issue on your own, it's a good idea to contact HP support or visit an authorized service center for assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
