Welcome to the HP User Community.

Unfortunately "Dead and gone" results in the loss of anything having to do with onboard Fax settings, Fax memory, Fax profiles, and the onboard Fax Address book contents.

For those reading...

If the old printer supported the option to create a backup,

If you enabled the backup and saved the configuration file,

The backup saves the selected data in the printer, possibly Fax profiles / address book and certainly the Email Address book.

The limitation is that without access to that printer, the backup is not useful.

It is a modified type of "Catch 22" situation where it is nearly impossible to win.

Example - HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 - EWS > Tools > Backup

EWS_Tools_Backup-Restore_2EWS_Tools_Backup-Restore_2
