Method 1: Using HP Smart App (Recommended)

Install HP Smart:

• Download and install the HP Smart app from the Windows Scan - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
• Open HP Smart and sign in (if required).

Add Your Printer:

• Click Add Printer and select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 (ensure it's connected via Wi-Fi or USB).

Start Scanning:

• Click the Scan tile.
• Place the document on the scanner glass or in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder).
• Adjust scan settings (color, resolution, etc.).
• Click Scan, then Save or Share.

Method 2: Using Windows Scan App

Open the Windows Scan App:

• Press Win + S, type Scan, and open the Windows Scan app.
• If it's not installed, download it from the Microsoft Store.

Select Your Printer:

• Ensure HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 is selected as the scanner.
