Hi Stan-the-Man,

I have tried this. I only get one choice for my laptop which is all I have connected at this time. However, when I choose the option to scan to the laptop I get an error message there too.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Sorry to hear yours isn't operational from the printers control panel as mine is.  However, I remember seeing that same error message too.  All I remember is I saw an Win10 driver update available (FYI, I'm running Win10 Ver2004): "HP - Image - 52.0.5158.0".  (FYI, I'm running Win10 Ver2004).  I installed that and that's when I THINK my control panel scan to computer selection worked.  It also may have been coincidence!  From my standpoint, it can work but HP reps don't know anything other than "it's not supported by the HPSmart App.  Good Luck with your efforts.
