Product: HP deskjet 2620

I have just bought a HP Deskjet 2620 and cannot find how to scan a document. The advice in the manual referred to in the string above does not work as the printer is not showing in the start screen on my Windows laptop. I have tried installing it but it just keep looking for software

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

First install a Software on the PC.

Then. refer to the following resources for scanning:

Scan Multiple pages to PDF

Scan Multiple photos with Autocrop

I noticed that an icon had appeared for the printer on my home screen and when I clicked  on that a scan option appeared which was then straightforward
