I have a Mac.  How can I add the scanner feature for my printer?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

You may use HP Easy Scan or Image Capture to scan documents and pictures. Let's try these steps:

1.) On your Mac, open Finder

2.) Click Applications and open Image Capture

3.) Select your printer name under Devices.

If image capture is not working, try HP Easy Scan, you may download and install HP Easy Scan from here.
