Hi,
A friend just gave me the above-referenced scanner, but the box contained no instructions about setting it up. I found the power supply and was able to confirm that the unit connected. However, I can't figure out how to link it to my computer to scan documents. Since this is an old prodct that is no longer supported by HP, I can't find a user manual. Nor cold I find a phone number to ask someone in the support division.
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Unfortunately, there's no information about this product anymore. This is all we have: http://scanner.getusermanuals.com/files/scanjet-3300c--user-s-manual/
You can try plugging in and playing it via USB, although I doubt it will support your Operating System.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!
Have a great day!
