Product: hp envy 5500 all in one printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HELP! Ive tried every possible way to fix this- i had to uninstall all my printer info and reinstall- everything works but the scanning- Scan Dr says only error is the Tawin Scan- how on earth do i fix this? it keeps having me download other stuff and i feel its not needed. I have the HP Envy 5500 ALl in One printer- need help scanning and either installing this Twain Scan??

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you try this standalone Scan Software:

 

HP Scan Extended

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
