hp officejet 8035 copies image to the center of the page when resizing (sometimes).

I was trying to create a two-sided document. That came out right. I then tried to resize the document. One side resized and printed perfectly and alined the document on the right side of the page but the other side resized but instead of copying from the right-hand corner of the page, it centered itself on the page. I tried this with the ADF and the scanner bed with the same results. What would cause the printer to copy correctly sometime and center the document sometime? This is only happening when I resize the document.

Perform a power reset

1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
6. Turn on the printer.
