HP Smart app crashes when deleting scanned images in view panel while scanning multiple documents.  I've modified scan settings, and I've uninstalled/reinstalled the full app an drivers, but the problem persists.  HP Print and Scan Doctor finds nothing wrong.  Anyone else have this experience, or a solution?

May you see any difference while scanning with HP Scan instead?

Thanks for the suggestion.  I installed the new 7900 series software package, but when I scanned multiple images and deleted one from the document/image view panel, it still crashed.  However, I did manage to save the images before it crashed this time.  😉

 

While I could function with HP Scan, I would much prefer to use the HP Smart Advance features with the HP Smart app as my document types vary and are often multiple pages.

 

Although, I'm open to any more suggestions.
