Hi @makifyldz,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble scanning documents using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) on your HP Smart Tank 530 Wireless All-In-One printer and you're getting a "Scan correct" message but the printer isn't sending the documents, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

  • Check Document Placement: Ensure that the documents you want to scan are placed correctly in the ADF tray. Make sure they are neatly stacked, not too thick or too thin, and that there are no creases or folds in the pages. The ADF may have trouble feeding documents that are damaged or not properly aligned.
  • Clear Any Jams: Check for any paper jams or obstructions in the ADF path. Even a small piece of paper or debris can cause scanning issues. Open the ADF cover and carefully inspect the entire path to ensure it's clear.
  • Reset the Printer: Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve scanning issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and power it on. This can help clear any temporary glitches.
  • Update Firmware and Drivers: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware and drivers installed. Visit the HP support website and search for your printer model to download and install any available updates.
  • Adjust Scan Settings: Access the printer's scanning settings through the control panel or the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. Make sure the scan settings are configured correctly, including the document type, resolution, and file format. Experiment with different settings to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Test with a Different Document: Try scanning a different document to see if the issue persists. It's possible that the problem is specific to the original document you were trying to scan.
  • Clean the ADF Rollers: Over time, the ADF rollers can accumulate dust and debris, which may affect document feeding. Consult your printer's manual on how to clean the ADF rollers properly.
  • Reset the ADF: Some printers have a manual reset function for the ADF. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform an ADF reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
