I want  to delete the prefix on my hp deskjet  ink advantage printer  fax number

 

I am using windows 10

Hi,

Click Fax > Setup > Preferences and change the Dial Prefix option, be sure to remove any of its value and press OK.

Next, toggle off the Dial Prefix toggle to completely turn of the feature.

i received the following reply to my previous question:

Please forgive my naivete, but where do I click fax?

Hi @mh2984,

On your main printer screen, swipe your finger to the sides to reveal additional options, then you should see additional options such as Copy, Scan, and Fax.

 

Tap on Fax and then click the gear icon to access its settings.

Go to the Fax Menu on the Printer>Setup>Preferences>Dialing prefix>Off
