Product: hp scanjet g3010 photo scanner
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I have a MacBook Pro that is running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5.  Someone recently gave me an hp scanjet G3010 photo scanner and I cannot find a definite answer as to whether I will be able to use this scanner with my Mac.  Can anyone help me or let me know if you have had any issues with installing drivers and scanning operations.

Hi,

The scanner is conpatible with Mac OS X 10.8 or previous versions, it is not supported on any later Mac OS X version.

 

You may check the 3rd party VueScan application as a workaround, it seems to support your scanner with no need of installing any scanner drivers:
