Hi, I was having trouble scanning last night so i ran the HP "Print and Scan Doctor" utility. The doctor ran a test scan, but i do not know where it sent/stored the image from the scanned pages? Where on my computer would that have gone? Or does it go to HP support? Or the cloud?
I'm concerned because the document that was used for the test scan had sensitive info on it. I'd like to find it and delete it. Thanks.

No, the test scan would not have gone "off grid" or to HP.
What? HP does not want your scanned files.
Too costly, completely impractical, and not lawful.
I suppose it's possible that if the destination were set to it, that the file could have ended up in your personal cloud (OneDrive) -- Easy enough to check, I think.
Honestly, it's been a minute since I used the Doctor software --
I don't generally use diagnostic software, preferring manual checks.
I was a bit surprised when it pulled up HP Scan to run the test.
Maybe I've forgotten how the Doctor software works...
I'll take another look and report back if I find anything useful.

I Downloaded the Print and Scan Doctor from the Doctor's website
Ran the software on a working printer --
At the point where I clicked to run a Test Scan, the Doctor opened the HP Scan software.
Assuming this is typical, then HP Scan places the scanned content into the assigned Destination folder (just like it does when you run HP Scan for a job).
Example - HP Scan - Menu - More > Destination
9025_HP_Scan_Menu_PDF_More_Destination_8
