I bought a new laptop and need to copy the app to the new computer.  Or I could download the app again if I could find where it is.  It shows up as HP Scan.  It has a different format than the HP Smart app.  It lets me scan double sided documents and keep the pages in order.  This app saves a huge amount of time if I can find it.  

 

I could also try to copy it over from the old computer.  But that hasn't worked.

 

ALL I NEED IS A LINK TO THE APP.

You're absolutely right to want that specific HP Scan app—it’s a real time-saver, especially for duplex scanning and keeping pages in order. 

 

While HP has shifted most users toward the HP Smart app, the classic HP Scan utility is still available as part of the Full Feature Software and Driver package for your printer.

 

You can download it directly from HP’s official site here:

Once you install the full package:

  • Look for HP Scan in your Start menu (it may be under the HP folder).
  • It should restore the familiar interface you’re used to, including duplex scanning and page ordering.
