Hello,
I'm having a problem with setting up the scan to email feature.over TLS
Can you tell me if I can use the TLS protocol?
I've been trying to set it up with the ciphered protocols, and it seems to me that it's just not working.
Is it problem with software maybe? It wasn't updated in a long time. I want to use the TLS and I don't know If I just don't get something or is it not possible.

after a lot of trouble, I did firmware update on the MFP and the gateway was accepted on the webpage of configuration but when I tried using the scan to email feature it was saying that the smtp gateway was not responding, I then took one last shot and tried configuring it from the control panel on the device and it started working but only on the 587 port...
used smtp on the ovh domain and now it works

Based on the age of the product, it may have never received the updates required to keep current with TLS proctocol. What TLS levels does it show through the embedded web server as available? The last Firmware update readme makes no mention of TLS changes at all. You may need to find an alternate method of communication as many email services will not work with anything less than 1.2
