Apparently I'm the only one who has the Override Malware Protection option, so it must be because I have Malwarebytes installed. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Interesting to see "Ignore Malware", have not seen this. But that does not exist in the latest version 1.9.4.

I cannot drag HP Easy Scan to the trash. It goes back to applications. New massage says remove manually -- not sure what that means.
