How do I reset memory in HP LaserJet 3055?

Hi,

Try freeing some memory by clearing the fax memory:

  1. Press the menu/enter button on the control panel.
  2. Press the > button once to select Fax functions , and then press menu/enter .
  3. Press < or > to select Clear saved faxes , and then press menu/enter .
  4. Press menu/enter to confirm deletion.

If there is no change by performing the steps above, try reducing the print resolution to 600dpi and check for any change.

If there is still no change , try 300 dpi and try printing again.

I have tried to clear the fax menu, however as I do not use the fax function, there was nothing to clear. Lowest printing option is 600dpi and set on econo mode. All it prints is a PCL XL error saying:

 

error:   InsufficientMemory

Operator:   ReadImage

Position:  21

 

I recently had the machine serviced (approximately 2 months ago) as paper was jamming constantly.  Could this have anything to do with the problem?
