my printer was giving me missing or damaged ink messages. So I did a reset on my printer. installed all new ink cartridges, did ALL updates, everthing is connected back perfect BUT
THE MENU ON THE PRINTER DISPLAY IS MISSING. Anyone have any ideas how to get it back?? I have tried the virtual assistant with no help at all. This is day 4 for me trying to figure it out. so any help would be very much appreciated.
Figuring it has to be something pretty simple, but it is absolutely eluding me at this time.
This is a crazy time to be worried about printer issues, but there are things I NEED, to print.

Welcome to HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware

I hope that helps.
