my hp 525 smart tank was bought this year only . it takes too much time to print pdfs . sometimes it prints word documents fast enough but my printing works are mainly of pdfs .

You have a PCL3 printer so any PDF documents needs to be converted to the PCL3 language.

 

Possibly the windows generic PCL3 converter is too slow (i am guessing)

 

Try the HP Jun 7, 2023 driver (windows 11)

 

There also is a firmware update but the "fix" is for security.
