We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I am unable to resolve a problem getting a Office Jet 7210 all in one printer to scan to a HP Pavillion laptop with Vista-Home premium.

The printer prints fine, and faxes fine.  It will not scan.  I deleted and loaded the software anew, and performed the instructions on set up.  These did not help. 

I atttempted to use the HP Solution center tool for printers and it identifies the printer and the software.  It will not allow to go on in the sequence once it displays the software and the printer link.

The printer still says "no scan options".  I have a short USB cable that is in great shape connecting the all in one printer to the laptop.  I have performed all the trouble shooting on a number of HP and associate boards.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Normally this error just means that the scan options just aren't setup. The document below will work you through setting it up. Let me know what happens.
