how to download scanner feature in my HP smart tank 615

I understand the scanner feature is not showing up in your HP Smart Tank 615, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
 

Ensure Software is Up-to-Date:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
  • Go to the Settings (gear icon) or Help section and check for updates. Install any available updates for the HP Smart app.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your computer.
  • Download and install the latest version of the HP Smart app from the HP Smart download page.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your HP Smart Tank 615 is properly connected to your network and that your computer is on the same network.
  • Restart your printer, computer, and router to refresh the connections.

Verify Scanner Drivers:

  • Go to the HP website and search for your HP Smart Tank 615 printer.
  • Download and install the latest drivers and software package for your printer. This should include the necessary scanner drivers.

Use Windows Built-In Scanner:

  • If the HP Smart app still does not show the scanner, you can try using the built-in Windows Scanner application:
    • Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
    • Select your HP Smart Tank 615 and click on Manage.
    • Click on Scan and follow the prompts to use the scanner.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that scanning is enabled on the printer’s settings. You may need to access the printer’s control panel or HP Smart app settings to verify this.
