office jet pro 8030 does not give me editable text when I scan using hp smart app

hp office jet pro 8035e. using hp smart app, scan offers basic pdf or image for choices. I think I have adobe pdf as part of my ms office subscription.

• Look for file type settings where you can choose between options like PDF, JPEG, and OCR formats like Word Document (.docx), Plain Text (.txt), or Searchable PDF.
