Thank you very much. Iy worked for me. Though I haven't tried using the desk top app, I can definitely scan from the printer to the pc now. We will see if it's permanent.............

Your fix does not work. I have uninstalled and reloaded the software 3 times and get the same message each time. Frustrating.
