   We have recently purchased one HP 1136MFp printer **bleep** scanner. Is it possible to scan from remote / networked machine/s like remote printing ? if yes, please help me the ways to fix it. right now I am able to scan from the machine it is associated but able to print from other pcs not able to scan from other pcs.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.

 

I have checked the specifications of your printer and your printer does not support scan to network.

 

If the printer supported scan to network folder, you could have done the remote scanning.

 

However, you can still scan remotely using scan to email option.

 

1. In Destinations, choose E-mail.
2. A blank e-mail opens with the scanned document as an attachment.
3. Enter an e-mail recipient, add text, or other attachments, then click Send.
