resize print percentage on 9135e

What is the sequence in the menu to reduce the print %. I just replaced my 8710 where it was very easy.

I know it can be done, but the menu sequence is needed.

How you adjust the print size depends on

• The Operating System / version (on your computer, tablet, phone),
• The applications or software available on that device
• The application / software you are using
• The content type (document / photo - image)
• Whether you are trying to adjust the size of a COPY or whether you are printing a file you have stored on your device.

Preparation - Tray and Paper

The new printer supports the Embedded Web Server interface -- the format (presentation) is a bit different.

EWS allows you to view and adjust the settings available directly on the printer, including those for Copy and for Print Defaults.  Again, the settings are quite the same as in your older printer -- the presentation format is different.

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Paper > Trays > click on Tray to configure

Section Print > Default Print Options > Select default tray

Job Configuration

Resize by Percentage is a particular resize option not based on a selected output print size but is instead a calculated result of selected percentage of 100 percent.

For the sake of the answer, two methods are included as example - both for Windows.

Both examples assume that the user is running a supported version of Windows AND the user has installed the full driver printer software (formally known as the Full Feature Software).

Example 1 - Microsoft Paint - Image Printing - Page Setup

Note that in this instance the user must calculate the desired output size or simply select a percentage number.

The better your software, the more control you have over the results.
