Welcome to the HP Community.

How-to guide:

HP Printers – How to Scan

What about Windows 7 ?

If your HP Scan supports the option, try that.

Reminder:

Before this operation can work, you do need to have installed an email client / program on the computer.

Examples of an installed email client / program:  Outlook, Thunderbird

Remember that this type of scan to email process does not support two-step verification.

If using two-step verification, set your email security to use an Apps Password.

Example - HP Scan - PDF to Email
