Good evening,

I have a problem with an HP Color Laser Jet CM6030 MP when I go to scan,

the file arrives on PC but when i try to open the file it tells me that the file is damaged.

1. did it work before, or is it the first scan you try?

and when it worked before: what have you changed recently?

2. what is the name (+ extension after the '.') of your file?

3. do you have the user-manual of this HP printer?

I found out that it is a problem due to the scan from glass, because if I do it from an adf reader, the file will not be damaged

Two questions on this (for my understanding only):

-what is an adf reader?

-did you scan a text/picture which was not 'printed' on paper but on a sheet of glass?

Good morning,

1. If originals are loaded in the ADF  input tray and are also on the flatbed scanner, the device work only by the first . If you try to do scan by flatbed scanner i have problem (file damaged).

2. Nono , only paper
