scan in Din A3

I would like to scan DIN A3 directly into Photoshop. Unfortunately, the TWAIN driver only offers DIN A4 as a size option, and I cannot find a setting to change this.

Your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 should be capable of scanning DIN A3 using the flatbed scanner, but the TWAIN driver may default to A4. Here are some steps to try:

1. Use HP Scan Software

• Open HP Scan on your computer.
• Select Flatbed as the scan source.
• Choose Custom Size and manually enter DIN A3 dimensions (297 x 420 mm).

 

2. Adjust TWAIN Driver Settings

• Some TWAIN drivers allow manual size adjustments.
• Open the TWAIN driver settings and look for an option to change the scan area.

 

3. Use HP Smart App

• If the TWAIN driver doesn’t allow A3 scanning, try using HP Smart instead.
• HP Smart should recognize the full flatbed size.

4. Update Drivers

• Ensure you have the full HP driver package installed, not just the basic one.
