Photosmart 7520
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a 4x6 photo that I would like to scan and print so that there are two images of that photo on one 4x6 photo.   In other words, I would end up with two copies of the photo but at half the size.  I did this in the past with an old printer.  How can I do this with my 7520?  Thanks!

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to scan a photo and print two images of it on HP Photosmart 7520 printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

Are you trying to scan from printer control panel to computer?

Did you use any software to edit the scanned copy before printing when you did this on your last printer?

Meanwhile:

Scan with the HP Scan software.

  1. Load the item on the scanner glass, in the document feeder slot,
  2. Click the printer name in the list of results.
  3. Click Scan a Document or Photo.

    HP Scan opens.

  4. Click one of the shortcuts that matches the file type and resulting action you want.

  5. Change any of the shortcut default settings in the right side of the window, if necessary.

  6. Select Show scan preview or Show Viewer After Scan to preview and make additional edits to the scan before saving it.

  7. Click Advanced Settings or More to change settings.

  8. Click Scan.

  9. If necessary, double-click the thumbnail image of the scanned item, and then change any additional settings.

  10. Click Save.

Click here and refer the document and check if that helps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

I am using the HP Printer Assistant on my desktop and I am not using any other editing software.  The instructions you sent only seem to apply to scanning one photo.  I am able to do that without any issues, but cannot combine double images of that one photo onto one new photo.

Hi @dijear

Thanks for the reply.

I appreciate your time and effort.

You will have to use some third party software to combine the images and the print it.

Cheers.
