HP Envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy 7640 all in one-  using Window 10 64 bit. Im able to scan to email a couple of pages just fine, but when I try to scan a large amount into a single document/file (i.e 25 pages). it will send an email without an attachment. Is there a max capacity that you can scan into one document?  Please advise. NOTE it will send it in a PDF version if that is any more help.

Thanks

Hi @ITS1,

I reviewed your post and understand that you are wondering about the page limit with scan to email option.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

File size limitation may be dependable on the email that you are using e.g. some email only allows a maximum of 5MB attachments. There isn't an actual page limit. It is really a file size limit. This is like attachment size limits with emails. In general, 10MB is considered safe for the maximum size of an email. If you have a large document or there are a lot of pictures, it may be best to scan to the computer first. You will have the ability to reduce the quality (file size) or to use a third-party program to compress or Zip the file. Then you can send the document via email.

Hope that answers your question.
