Simple idea
Depending on your Operating System,
Scan and Save each side of the coin into 2 separate files.
Open the first saved image (side 1) in your photo editing software
Or Open photo software, Import first file (side 1) image into canvas
Next,
Import the second saved image (side 2) to that same file
While active ("just imported"), Adjust the placement
Add any extra text or other information
Save under a new name.
The example is for Windows Paint
Windows
Scan and Save the two sides of the coin as separate image files.
Open the first image in Paint
Extend the right side of the blank / white background large enough to accommodate adding the second side.
Import the 2nd file > Adjust the placement > Save under a new name
Optionally, Print the new file on a single sheet of paper.
