Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

MFP M225
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

this is an issue with Scan to Network Folder (SNF) from my MFP.  ever since I installed a repeater, Scan to Network Folder does not work.  It will (intermittantly) pass the setup test under either the HP SNF untility or EWS.  However, trying to execute from my MFT touchscreen will invariably fail.  Normally just times out or gives error of 'cannot connect to xxxxxxx computer/folder'.

Really annoying.  Please advise.

This is due to a connection problem.

Are both the printer and the PC connected to the router? to the repeater?

Do the router and repeater have a unique or the same SSIDs?

Mmm.  sounds like you are saying that both the printer and the SNF destination must be on the same SSID.  Correct?

In my case they are not.  Destination PC is on router SSID and HP MFP is on repeater SSID?

so, additional question:  if I set up SNF with them both on same SSID (eg repeater) ; should SNF work properly?

No.

What I say that using a repeater may involve additional settings and network understanding to allow the proper communication, a such will not likely work with an out of the box approach...

Setting an additional SSID is not recommended at all, as then you won't even have any control of the connected devices.

Try connecting both the printer and computer to the router first and check if it works again, then you know the multiple networks do not allow all the required connectivity for such a task.

Try consulting your repeater service provider and check, this will likely require some settings modification and knowledge to allow such a task though the repeater...

original issue was HP MFP dropping wifi.  is there a way to have the MFP automatically re-establish connex??
