When I use the feeder to scan / copy, there is a line in the middle of the page. I tried to clean the glass as other suggested, but the line is still there. Then I found that there is small line (circled RED) which is exactly the same place as the line on the page.  What is this small line? Is it a dirt? How can I clean it?

Do you get the same line scanning from the glass? If not, less likely the information posted below and more likely an issue with the glass. 

 

The mark you see maybe contamination if it is not on the glass but directly on the scan bar. Scanners are funny in that even a nearly invisible spec or line can distort light and leave a mark. If you are going to try cleaning inside, check YouTube for a video as disassembly is not included in any service documentation from HP, scanner is considered a subunit replacement item..
