Unfortunately it did not work. HP Scan and Capture, as well as HP Doctor, always state that the scanning operation was interrupted by the user. But I was absolutely doing nothing, just awaiting for the scan to complete.

Is there going to actually be a solution to this other than downloading another program?

Something changed in just the last two weeks on this on an update.

Will this ever be fixed?  I am very low-tech, have un-installed and re-installed 3 times to no avail.

I hate the thought of having to buy a new printer/scanner because of a software error created by the manufacturer of a product!

It definitely won't be an HP the next time.

Hi,

Unfortuneately it did not work neither.

 

It starts scanning the first 10cm of an A4 page, then it continues, it stops again at 20cm, and then when it finishes, it does not produce any output.

This is NOT an issue of setting up the scanner or how to scan.  It is an issue of no image after scanning and has been happening for at least two months now!

@elohi_NR can you please advise if there is ever going to actualy be a true fix for this? Many have replied that your work around did not work, and I tied and nothing was fixed.

Please help us. We need a patch/fix for this very annoying issue.

Dear All, I managed to solve the issue by installing the HP SMART application from the windows app store. I strongly advice you to do it that way.
